StartUp Britain
StartUp Britain is a campaign by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.
The campaign was launched on 28 March, 2011 by then Prime Minister David Cameron with the support of the Chancellor and Government.
The campaign offered inspiration, resources and guidance to help people start and grow their own business.
I was responsible for:
Content production: Responsible for producing quality content for the StartUp Britain newsletter and driving traffic to the website.
Community management: Accountable for the campaign social media [@startupbritain] to encourage meaningful engagement with the UK start-up scene.
Event management: Efficiently planned and executed cost-effective campaign activities, including the management of a high-profile event portfolio. Including; the nationwide StartUp Tour programme and a series of sector-focused start-up events connecting entrepreneurs with leading business experts.
Partnerships: Harnessed joint marketing opportunities with organisations such as the MAA & the Department for Business that increased channels to market. I also worked closely with campaign sponsors [Dell, Intuit, Microsoft etc] demonstrating ROI.
